Cochlospermum religiosum (L.) Alston
Shrub, 6-10 m tall, of open formations of Indochina and of India. Fuits have their seeds wrapped with a cotton ; harvested and used in the same conditions as silk cotton (filling of mattress, pillows). The wood may be used to make paper mass.

Arbuste, haut de 6-10 m, des formations ouvertes de l’Indochine et de l’Inde. Fruits dont les graines sont enveloppées d’un coton, récoltés et utilisés dans les mêmes conditions que le kapokier (rembourrage des matelas. des oreillers). Le bois est susceptible d’être employé pour faire de la pâte à papier.
