CLERODENDRON (Verbenaceae)
Clerodendron philippinum Schauer
Shrub, 0,50-1 m tall, of barren places in Southeast Asia, cultivated and naturalized almost everywhere in tropical Asia, Rose-white flowers, very nice-smelling. In Cambodia, the leaves are used in traditional medicine, used external, under the form of baths, against the boils of the children. Infusions are used for the treatment of gonorrhea.

ឈ្មោះគុម្ពព្រឹក្សមួយប្រភេទកំពស់ ០.៥០-១ម ដុះលើដីវាលគ្មានដើមឈើ ក្នុងទ្វីបអាស៊ីផ្នែកអាគ្នេយ៍ ។ ម្លិសសុ្រក ខុសពីម្លិសធម្មតាឆ្ងាយណាស់ មិនមែនសន្តានជាមួយគ្នាទេ ។ ដើមនេះគេនាំពូជទៅដាំក្នុងស្រុកជាច្រើន នៃអាស៊ីទាំងមូលដោយផ្កា ស លាយផ្កាឈូក មានក្លិនក្រអូបល្អ ។ ស្លឹកគេប្រើធ្វើថ្នាំ ។ គេត្រាំស្លឹក ឱ្យក្មេងកើតបូសទ្រនិច ងូត ។ គេឆុង ស្លឹក ព្យាបាលជម្ងឺប្រមេះ ។

Arbrisseau, haut de 0,50-1 m, des lieux incultes, de l’Asie du Sud-Est, cultivé et naturalisé un peu partout en Asie tropicale. Fleurs blanc-rosé, ou blanches, très odorantes. Au Cambodge, les feuilles sont employées en pharmacopée, en usage externe, sous forme de bains, contre les furoncles des enfants. Leurs infusions sont abordées pour le traitement de la blennorragie.
