Cleome gynandra L.
Herb of the reclaimed lands around houses. Of paléotropical origin, it is introduced in tropical America. It has become subspontaneous in all the warm regions of the world. Herbe des endroits défrichés autour des habitations. D’origine paléotropicale, elle est introduite en Amérique tropicale. Elle devient actuellement subspontanée dans toutes les régions chaudes du monde. Les feuilles, confites dans du vinaigre, ou simplement dans de l’eau salée, sont très appréciées des Cambodgiens qui les consomment avec du poisson grillé. Tiges et racines employées en pharmacopée contre la blennorragie de la femme.
