Citrus hystrix DC.
Shrub, 5-10 m tall, of Malay origin, cultivated in the warm regions. The leaves and the peel of the fruit make condiments. They are sold in all Asian groceries shops of the world. The complete fruits are eaten crystallized. Cut in slices, the fruit is mixed with the lustral water in religious ceremonies. The fruit is used rarely as shampoo.

ក្រូចសើចជាចុល្លព្រឹក្ស កំពស់ ៥-១០ម គេនាំពូជពីស្រុកជ្វាមកដាំគ្រប់ប្រទេសក្តៅ ។ ស្លឹក និងផ្លែមានលក់ក្នុងផ្សារអាស៊ីសកលលោក ។ ផ្លែអាចជ្រក់បាន ។ គេប្រើស្លឹក និងផ្កាជាគ្រឿងទេស ។ គេតែងកាត់ផ្លែក្រូចសើចស្ដើងៗ ដាក់ក្នុងទឹកមន្ត ។ ពេលខ្លះគេប្រើផ្លែក្រូចសើចសម្រាប់កក់សក់ ។

Arbuste, haut de 5-10 m, d’origine malaise, cultivé dans les régions chaudes. Les feuilles et le zeste du fruit sont condimentaires. Ils sont en vente dans toutes les épiceries Asiatiques du monde. Les fruits entiers sont consommés à l’état confit. Coupé en tranches, le fruit entre dans la préparation de l’eau lustrale lors des cérémonies religieuses. On utilise rarement le fruit comme shampooing.
