Cinnamomum verum J. Presl
Tree, 10-20 m tall, of the wet dense forests of Sri Lanka, India and Indochina, cultivated in some tropical regions as utilitarian tree. The barks are sold on markets. They are used as spices and in traditional medicine. Inferior wood used for small constructions.

ឈ្មោះព្រឹក្សមួយប្រភេទ កំពស់ ១០-២០ម ដុះក្នុងព ្រៃត្រជាក់នៃឥណ្ឌូចិន សេរីលង្កា និងឥណ្ឌា ស្រុកក្ដៅឯទៀត ។ គេនាំពូជទៅដាំជាដើមមានប្រយោជន៍ ។ គេអាចទិញសំបកដើមនេះតាមផ្សារបាន ។ គេប្រើសំបកជាគ្រឿងទេស និងសម្រាប់ធ្វើថ្នាំផ្សេងៗ ។ ឈើអាចយកទៅសង់រោងបណ្តោះអាសន្នបាន ។

Arbre, haut de 10-20 m, des forêts denses humides, de Ceylan, de l’Inde et de l’Indochine, cultivé dans certaines régions tropicales comme arbre utilitaire. Les écorces sont vendues dans le commerce. On les utilise comme épices et aussi en pharmacopée. Bois médiocre employé pour de petites constructions.
