Small tree, 6-20 m tall, of the dense forests of tropical Asia. The wood, classified 3rd category, fully resistant to insects, is looked for cabinetwork and construction. It is used also to make incense sticks. The bark would be medicinal.

ឈ្មោះឈើមួយប្រភេទ ជាព្រឹក្សតូចល្មម កំពស់ ៦-២០ម ដុះក្នុងព្រៃក្រាស់ ក្នុងទ្វីបអាស៊ីក្តៅ ។ ឈើមានខ្លឹមជាប់ល្អ ឈើលេខ៣ សត្វល្អិតស៊ីមិនដាច់ គេប្រើសម្រាប់ធ្វើតុ ទូ និងសង់ផ្ទះ ។ សំបកមានក្លិនប្រហើរ សម្រាប់ធ្វើធូប និងថ្នាំរម្ងាប់រោគ ។

Petit arbre, haut de 6-20 m, des forêts denses de l’Asie tropicale. Le bois, classé 3ème catégorie, inattaquable par les insectes, est recherché pour l’ébénisterie et la construction. Il sert aussi à fabriquer des baguettes d’encens. L’écorce serait médicinale.
