Cibotium barometz (L.) J. Sm.
Small tree fern, 1-3 m tall, of the dense altitude forests, met in Cambodia, between 600 and 800m, on the ascent towards the Bokor mountain; species also met in China and in the Malayan Peninsula, where it is often cultivated in the gardens. Trunk very appreciated by Cambodians to prepare a compost for the cultivation of the orchids.

ឈោ្មះបណ្ណង្គជាតិមួ យប្រភេទ ស្ទើដើមឈើ បែកមែកសាខា កំពស់ ១-៣ម ដុះក្នុងព្រៃភ្នំបូកគោ មានឧព្វេធពី ៦០០-៨០០ម ។ ដើមក៏មាន ដុះក្នុងប្រទេសចិន និងឧបទ្វីបជ្វាដែរ ពេលខ្លះគេដាំប្រមោញស្វាជាដើមលំអសួន ។ គល់ប្រមោញស្វា ខ្មែរៗនិយមយកមកកាត់តូចៗលាយសម្រាប់ធ្វើអំពកដាំដើម Orchidées (មុនឆ្នាំ ១៩៧៥) ។

Petite fougère arborescente, haute de 1-3 m, des forêts denses d’altitude, rencontrée au Cambodge, entre 600 et 800 m d’altitude, sur la montée vers le mont Bokor; espèce rencontrée aussi en Chine et dans la Péninsule malaise, où elle est souvent cultivée dans les jardins. Tronc très apprécié par les Cambodgiens en vue de la préparation d’un compost pour la culture des Orchidées.
