Celosia cristata L.
Perennial herb, 30-80 cm tall, with erected and branching stalk; red, yellow flowers, rarely white, originating from India, cultivated in the warm or temperate regions as decorative. The seeds are used by the Chinese of Cambodia to decorate the cakes by assembling them under the form of characters.

សិរមាន់ក្រហមជា តិណជាតិដុះយូរឆ្នាំបាន ម ានកំពស់ ៣០-៨០ម មែកត្រង់ឡើងលើ ឬស្ទើវារ ។ ផ្កាមានពណ៌ក្រហម ពេលខ្លះលឿង កម្រមានពណ៌សណាស់ ។ ដើមនេះដុះក្នុងស្រុកឥណ្ឌា គេនាំទៅដាំជាលំអនៅគ្រប់ប្រទេសក្តៅ និងប្រទេសរងាបង្គួរ ។ ចិននៅប្រទេសខ្មែរ បានយកគ្រាប់សិរមាន់ក្រហម តុបតែងនំ ជាគំនូរអក្សរផ្សេងៗ ។

Herbe vivace, haute de 30-80 cm, à tige dressée et rameuse ; fleurs rouges, jaunes, rarement blanches, originaire de l’Inde, cultivée dans les régions chaudes ou tempérées comme ornementale. Les graines sont utilisées par les Chinois du Cambodge pour décorer les gâteaux en les assemblant sous forme de caractères.
