Cathormion umbellatum (Vahl) Kosterm.
Shrub, 2-5 m tall, of wet places at riversides, and in flooded aeras in rainy season; species of Sri Lanka, South India, Thailand, Cambodia, Southern Vietnam and from Java to New Guinea. Plant often cultivated along rivers and canals.

Arbuste haut de 2-5 m des endroits humides, au bord des rivières, et en zones inondées en saison des pluies ; espèce de Ceylan, de l’Inde du Sud, de Thaïlande, du Cambodge, du Sud-Viêt-nam et de Java à la Nouvelle Guinée. Plante souvent cultivée le long des fleuves et des canaux.
