Canthium didymum Roxb. var. rostrata Thwaites
A 6 to 10 m tall tree of clear forest and deforested areas of tropical Asia. The wood is appreciated for building. In local pharmacopoeia, roots are a component of a remedy against ovarian diseases.

មេកងជាព្រឹក្សមានកំពស់ ៦-១០ម ដុះក្នុងព្រៃល្បោះ និងទីវាលដីនៃទ្វីបអាស ៊ីក្ដៅ ។ ឈើល្អសម្រាប់សង់ផ្ទះ ។ គ្រូថ្នាំខ្មែរ តែងយកឬសដើម មេកងធ្វើថ្នាំព្យាបាលជម្ងឺអណ្ឌាស័យ ។

Arbre haut de 6-10 m des forêts claires et des endroits déboisés de l’Asie tropicale. Bois apprécié pour les constructions. En pharmacopée locale, les racines entrent dans la composition d’un remède pour le traitement des maladies ovariennes.
