CANANGA (Annonaceae)
Cananga latifolia (Hook. f. & Thomson) Finet & Gagnep.
A 8 to 15 m tall tree of clear and semi-dense forests of Indochina and Malayan Peninsula. Fragrant flowers sometimes used to make necklaces. Short-lasting wood, used for temporary structures. Wood’s infusion are considered febrifuge. The bark is one of the components of a remedy against dizziness.

ឆ្កែស្រែងជាដើមឈើ កំពស់៨-១៥ម ដុះក្នុងព្រៃល្បោះ ឬព្រៃក្រាស់មធ្យម នៃឥណ្ឌូចិន និងឧបទ្វីបជ្វា ។ ផ្កាមានក្លិន ក្រអូប ពេលខ្លះគេយកផ្ញើខ្សែ ក ពាក់លេង ។ ឈើមិនសូវជាប់ទេ គេអាចសង់រោងបណ្ដោះអាសន្នបាន ។ ឈើកាត់កង់សម្រាប់ស្ងោរផឹក ឱ្យបាត់គ្រុន ។ សំបកគេយកលាយនឹងថ្នាំឯទៀត ជក់កែរោគឬសដូងខ្យល់ ។

Arbre haut de 8-15 m des forêts claires et semi-denses de l’Indochine et de la Péninsule malaise. Fleurs odorantes employées parfois pour faire des colliers. Bois, peu durable, utilisé pour les constructions temporaires. En pharmacopée, les infusions du bois coupé en minces lamelles sont considérées comme fébrifuges. Ecorce entrant dans la composition d’un remède contre les vertiges.
