A tree, 15 to 20 m tall, of dense humid forests in tropical Asia. The wood, lasting and with fine texture. is graded 3rd category ; it is sought for making luxury furnitures.

ផ្អុងព្រៃជាព្រឹក្សមួយប្រភេទ កំពស់ ១៥ - ២០ម ដុះក្នុងទីព្រៃធំត្រជាក់នៃអាស៊ីក្តៅ ។ ឈើមានស ាច់ម៉ត់ ហើយជាប់ ណាស់ ជាឈើលេខ៣ គេនិយមប្រើ ឈើមានតំលៃនេះធ្វើ តុ ទូ កៅអី ។

Arbre haut de 15-20 m des forêts denses humides de l’Asie tropicale. Le bois, à grain fin et durable, est classé 3ème catégorie : il est très recherché pour la fabrication des meubles de luxe.
