Calamus salicifolius Becc.
A little bushy rattan, often climbuing, stalk 2 to 4 m long, met in deforested places and near houses in Cambodia and Southern Vietnam. Edibles fruits eaten mostly by children. Stalk used in basket making. Roots are used as purgatives and hypotensives. They also give medicine for horses.

Petit rotin buissonnant, souvent grimpant, à tige longue de 2-4 m, rencontré dans les endroits déboisés et près des habitations du Cambodge et du Sud-Viêt-nam. Fruits comestibles mangés surtout par les enfants. Tige employée en vannerie. Les racines sont utilisées en pharmacopée comme purgatives et hypotensives. La médecine vétérinaire les utilise pour le traitement de maladies des chevaux.
