Blumea balsamifera DC.
Branchy shrub, 1-2m tall, found in clearings of forest of average altitude in tropical Asia. The crushed leaves smell camphor. In Cambodia, they commonly used in fumigation against dizziness and headache. The fresh leaves are often put into the ears for they are reputed to have insect-repelling properties. The leaves are also said to have other therapeutic properties against fever, mange, acne.
