ជីរនេះ ជាស្មៅម៉្យាង គេយកមកដាំសំរាប់យកស្លឹកធ្វើគ្រឿងទេស។ ដើមកំណើតដំបូង ជីរនេះ គឺ នៅស្រុកអាមេរិក ខាងត្បូង ។ ស្លឹកជីរតា ំងឱ តូចជាងជីរ Celeri ។

Herbe, d’origine Sud-américaine, introduite et cultivée pour ses feuilles condimentaires; celles-ci sont plus petites que celles du céleri commun.
