ALYXIA (Apocynaceae)
Alyxia pisiformis Pierre
Shrub, 2-6 m hight, more or less scandent, found in secondary forest in Indochina. The wood, fragrant, is mainly used as incense by mountain tribe. In local medicine, it is said to be effective in fumigation against headache. The leave gives a juice used as vomitive.

ចុល្លព្រឹក្សមួយប្រភេទកំពស់ ២ - ៦ ម ពេលខ្លះជាវល្លិវារលើរុក្ខជាតិជិ តខាង ដុះក្នុងព្រៃស្រោងនៃប្រទេសឥណ្ឌូចិន។ ខ្លឹមដើមមានក្លិនក្រអូប សំរាប់ធ្វើធូបដុតថ្វាយព្រះ ជាពិសេសក្នុងចំណោមពួកខ្មែរលើ។ គ្រូថ្នាំតែងយកខ្លឹមឈើសំរាប់ឱ្យគេ ឆ្ពុងរំងាប់រោគឈឺក្បាល។ វត្ថុរំអិលម៉្យាង ចំរាញ់ចេញពីស្លឹក ជាថ្នាំសំរាប់ធ្វើឲ្យក្អួត (ពេលពុលអាហារ)។

Arbuste, haut de 2-6 m, plus ou moins sarmenteux, des formations secondaires de l’Indochine. Bois odorant, employé comme encens par les peuplades des Hauts Plateaux. En pharmacopée locale, il est également utilisé en fumigation contre la céphalée. Le suc amer, extrait des feuilles, est légèrement vomitif.
