Alpinia officinarum Hance
Herb, 1-1.5 m tall, cultivated in Asia and South East Asia for its rhizome used as condiment and in local medicine. The fruits also have medicinal virtues. Both are considered as a stimulating of digestion. Dried and pounded fruit, in external use, have the reputation to cure toothache.

រំដេងស្រុក មានរាងដូចរំដេងធ្វើគ្រឿងដែរ ហើយអាចប្រើធ្វើគ្រឿងទេសក៏បាន តែគេតែងប្រើរំដេងស្រុកធ្វើថ្នាំ ។ គ្រូថ្នាំយកផ្លែរំដេងស្រុកធ្វើឱសថលើកកំលាំង ឬធ្វើឱ្យរំលាយអាហារបានស្រួល ។ ផ្លែស្ងួតហើយកិនឱ្យទៅជាម្សៅ ប្រើជាថ្នាំព្យាបាលជំងឺធ្មេញដង្កូវស៊ី ដែលធ្វើឱ្យឈឺទ្រាំមិនបាន ។

Herbe haute de 1-1,5 m, cultivée un peu partout en Asie orientale et du Sud-Est. Rhizome utilisé comme condimentaire et en pharmacopée. Celle-ci emploie également les fruits. Ils sont considérés comme un stimulant de la fonction digestive. Les fruits séchés puis réduits en poudre seraient efficaces contre les maux dentaires, à appliquer localement.
