ADENANTHERA (Leguminosae-Mimosoideae)
Adenanthera pavonina L.var. pavonina
Tree up to 8-15 m tall; bark yellowish inside; found in sunny areas up to 900m altitude; it grows wild in India, Sri Lanka and Burma. It may be cultivated in Cambodia. The timber is used for temporary construction. The barks yield an yellow oil used for staining.
ចាន់ត្រី
ជាដើមព្រឹក្សមួយមានកំពស់ ៨ ទៅ ១៥ ម មានសំបកក្នុងពណ៌លឿង ច្រើន ដុះក្នុងព្រៃវាល និងលើភ្នំដែលខ្ពស់មិន លើសពី៩០០ម នៃឧបទ្វីបជ្វា គេនាំចូលសំរាប់ដាំក្នុងប្រទេសក្ដៅសកលលោក។ ឈើមិនសូវជាប់ល្អទេ តែអាចប្រើបណ្តោះអាសន្នបាន។ សំបក់ចាន់ត្រី មានជាតិថ្នាំពណ៌លឿង ប្រើជាថ្នាំជ្រលក់សំពត់អាវបាន។

Arbre haut de 8-15 m, à écorce jaunâtre intérieurement, rencontré dans les endroits ensoleillés jusqu’à 900 m d’altitude, spontané en Inde, à Ceylan et en Birmanie, introduit dans les autres régions tropicales. Au Cambodge, l’espèce est probablement échappée des cultures. Le bois, peu durable, est employé pour les constructions temporaires. On peut en extraire aussi une teinture are jaune.
