ABELMOSCHUS (Malvaceae)
Abelmoschus moschatus Medik.
Shrub, 0.5 to 1 m tall, growing in waste lands, common in Indochina, grown in other tropical regions of Asia and Africa. Seeds, with a musked odour, are considered stimulating and antispasmodic.

Sous-arbrisseau, haut de 0,50-1m, des terrains incultes, commun en Indochine ; cultivé dans les autres régions tropicales d’Asie et d’Afrique. Graines à odeur musquée considérées comme stimulantes et douées de propriétés antispasmodiques.
